That being said, I hate to be THAT guy, but I don't think car doors can stop even the lowest caliber of bullets hahaha. I had a friend of a friend get mugged in Brazil. He fled in his car rather than paying. The robbers shot at him. The bullets passed through the entirety of his car to hit him. He was hospitalized but survived. Bullets are designed to penetrate things, and unless said things are also designed expressively against penetration, the bullets usually win.
