You're a slick writer, and I hope you get read more. I too, cannot help but share your cynicism regarding Medium's new boosting system. I am an eternal optimist, but Medium has dropped the ball one too many times in the recent years. I sincerely hope that the new boosting system will, at least, be superior to the post relational medium curation system (the pre relational one was pretty dope).
