I can't agree with you more.

I have interviewed and personally known a number of courtesans, and their stories have always struck me as terribly...human. Which was what spurred me on to write my third book.

At the end of it, their line is an honest one. A trade for a trade. This is more than can be said for a lot of other professions out there.
