Im terrible at corporate jobs (they bore me too much) but I’ve seen what you described in all the other jobs I’ve worked at with a T!

At a certain point complaining ceases to hurt authority and instead comes back to hurt yourself. This energy can be transmitted to finding out how to dominate at your chosen craft/career—eventually and over time becoming powerful enough to bend the rules you think are dumb any way you see fit.
