Thank you for your balanced comment, Anne. Judging by it, you seem very well read and more than able to dissect a story. Did you major in Literature or something?

It is certainly true that I have a style that is heavy on first person perspective. I took this mainly from Fante, one of my literary heroes. I believe that, since Life is experienced subjectively, the best way to express said life in writing is through a subjective viewpoint. I thus write only about what I have experienced and what I was feeling during that experience, and mesh my other characters on paper as needed.

What the people who are leaving the aggressive comments on my story mayhaps don’t understand is that a style is just that: a style. I don’t mean anything by it. I have no political agenda, neither am I a bigot or a sexist. I am merely telling a story the best way I see fit.
