The political references flew right over my head, but as a citizen of Singapore, I have had an obsession with the history of Britain (pertaining to the last hundred years) for as long as I can remember.

Our founding father, Lee Kuan Yew, studied in Britain, and he described Britain in the 60s as an idyllic place to live. Many suspect he modelled much of Singapore's policies on his days in ole' England. I would love to know more about what those times were like. More articles like this, please!
