Funnily enough sex work is legal and regulated in Singapore! I imagine Mona didn’t want to get a license for a myriad of reasons—secrecy being one, money being the other. You’re right in saying that she wasn’t forced to do anything, but that being said, she had to pay for her actions. I don’t think it’s fair, either. I look forward to the day where we all have more Freedom—but I don’t make the rules. I am no politician. I am a mere writer who writes about his experiences as truthfully and as entertainingly as I can.
